He’s excited to work with Prequel students and help them truly stand out in their admissions journey.

Shreya is a software engineer, author, and education advocate passionate about making knowledge accessible. A fourth-year Computer Science student at Columbia University, she has gained hands-on experience as a software engineering intern at Atlassian. As the author of the Alpha Learning Series—a 26-book collection introducing children to diverse fields—Shreya is dedicated to inspiring the next generation of learners.

Maria is a Silicon Valley innovator, entrepreneur, and future Schwarzman Scholar at Tsinghua University. She has spoken at the Department of Defense and NASA on in-space manufacturing and previously worked as a market analyst in Taiwan’s semiconductor industry. Passionate about empowering newcomers, she has created entrepreneurial resources for immigrants to Canada. In high school, she ran DECA and HOSA, launched a camera to space, and is now training as an Olympic 3P rifle shooter. Maria operates at the intersection of technology, policy, and global impact, shaping the future of innovation on Earth and beyond.

Amin is a product leader, entrepreneur, and educator with a track record of building and scaling tech ecosystems. He is the Head of Product at Prequel and previously served as VP of Product at Product School and CareGuide. A Co-Founder of Bloom, Amin has also shaped app ecosystems at Shopify and Google. Beyond tech, he is an Adjunct Professor at Queen’s University and a mentor to emerging founders. Academically, he holds a BASc from Waterloo, and is currently pursuing an MSc at Oxford.

Essam is an entrepreneur and educator with a track record in edtech, SaaS, and digital marketing. He founded a tutoring business, launched a coding bootcamp, and now focuses on digital marketing education. He has worked at high-growth SaaS companies, including one in the restaurant industry and another that became Canada’s fastest-growing e-commerce tech firm, scaling from 27 to 100+ employees in two years. His insights on education and tech have also gained traction on TikTok, where he has gone viral, amassing over 100,000 followers.

Zaki is a marketing strategist and partnerships expert with a track record in brand growth, media, and business development. In his last role, he was the Partnerships & Marketing Manager at RBC, leading initiatives in loyalty and rewards. Previously, he was the Social Media & PR Manager at L’Oréal, shaping digital engagement for global brands. Beyond corporate roles, Zaki served as Director of Marketing & Business Development at Santa Claus Inc., driving nonprofit impact. He is also the Co-Founder of The Wrong Side of the Post, a globally recognized podcast, and has held key roles in marketing and operations at The Bull & Bear.

Donnie is an operations expert specializing in automation and data-driven product innovation. With experience across education, health clinics, tech, and CPG, he has built scalable systems that drive efficiency and impact. From leading operations at high-growth education programs to optimizing patient care and pioneering retail analytics, Donnie transforms complex challenges into streamlined, high-performance solutions.

JP is the definition of someone who has built a portfolio career. He has worked as a content creator for one of the best esports teams in the world, a professor at the best-ranked university in Portugal, a business owner of a best-selling Leopard Gecko business, and built a YouTube and TikTok channel with millions of views. JP shares his zest for life and a deep curiosity for what the world has to offer. He leads by example and is the role model who shows kids that you can do anything you put your mind to.

Katarina has spent the last 7 years helping students discover their passions and interests in the world of tech & business. She's taught and worked with thousands students and early-career people through her programs at On Deck, a VC-backed startup, and UBC Geering Up, a non-profit. When not supporting BETA Camp students, you can find her hiking, kayaking, dancing, or playing board games.
